Our Repair Policy

The SmartLine Timer is guaranteed for 3 years.
The guarantee does not include repairs due to misuse or using a power supply with the wrong voltage. It is also limited to the timer electronics.

Use the Request a Repair button to send us a description of the problem you are having and we will send you an RMA # to include with your timer.

Request a repair

This will allow us to process your timer more efficiently and quickly.

Our fees apply to any timers unless you can supply a date of purchase that is within 3 years of date we recieve the repair.

  • The following repair fees apply:
    • $95 - 2,3,4 lane SmartLine Timer I models and parts of a timer sent in a small box.
    • $149 -
      • 6,8 lane SmartLine Timer I models
      • all SmartLine Timer II models
      • BestTrackĀ® Champ timers
    • $179 - any timer returned in a case
  • If the returned item is incomplete we may not be able to find the problem.
  • Include all parts including cables that are in question. Please do not return the Plexiglas panel if possible.
  • In the rare case that the timer is damaged beyond repair or another part is at fault, we will send you an estimate for new parts via email before proceeding.


Our Return Policy

We hope that everyone is happy with our products but in the event that you are not please note the following. We stand behind our product, but if you need to return the timer the following exceptions apply.

  • You may return any BestTrackĀ® or Piantedosi aluminum size timers or restockable cable product within 30 days of receipt in the original packaging to be credited with the purchase price of the equipment. A restocking fee will be applied.
  • Custom size timers for wood and plastic tracks can not be returned. Please make sure your measurements are correct. We send you an email with our interpretation of your measurements in the form we require for verification. After you verify the measurements, we make the timer to these specifications.
  • GrandPrix Race Manager is not refundable.
  • If the returned item is incomplete or damaged there will be a restocking fee based on amount of damage or missing items.
  • Shipping and handling is not refundable.
Send your timer with your printed receipt to receive a credit to the card it was purchased with. Please include a description of the reason for the return.
