Who We Are
We have been the manufacturer of the SmartLine Finish Line Timer products for over 18 years.
We designed and manufacture the electronics for the popular CHAMP double sided timer from BestTrack®.
We own Probe Products Corporation, which has been providing quality signal conditioning dimensional measurement equipment
to major manufacturing companies in the US and Canada for over 35 years. Our dimensional signal conditioners measure intricate parts that need to fit perfectly with very tight tolerances such as jet or car engine components.

How We Started
Over the years we had been involved in many capacities from Cub Scout leaders to committee members in our troop. When we joined our pack the track we used was a very old wooden track that everyone knew had a "special" lane. They had a crude timer that was literally made out of tinker toys.
When our younger son was in the third grade, Richard volunteered to run the event.
The leadership decided to do a Space instead of the Pinewood event.
We were up for the challenge and built a Space track. Richard designed a new timer to work on that track.
He also wrote a program to take input from the timer and manage the race with the double elimination method we had used in the past.
It was a ton of work but the event was a success.
The following Fall the leadership decided to buy a new track for the Pinewood Derby.
We built a new Beta-Craft track that is an aluminum top over a wooden frame.
We modified the Space timer's design to fit onto the new track.
We were so successful at running these events that the pack asked us to come back for several years and we gladly did.
The boys in our troop were a key element in working on the event. The integration of pack and troop worked as a wonderful bonding experience
for both.
